Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking Private Security Guards to perform routine patrols, gate house security, mobile patrols, fire watch, and control room monitoring. The role requires a valid DC license, 2+ years of experience, and strong reporting skills.

Schedule is Tue-Sat, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with a pay rate of $21 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and a 401K with employer match.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid DC security license.
• 2+ years of security officer/guard experience.
• Knowledge of local security laws and public safety guidelines.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Routine security & safety patrol of property and structures to maintain order and security presence.
• Verify and track access credentials of residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries.
• Ensure all exits, doors, and windows are secure and functioning.
• Monitor CCTV to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Respond to notifications, alarms, and incidents and provide security support as needed.
• Report suspicious activity and incidents to authorities and management.
• Create and submit daily surveillance and incident reports.
