Zusammenfassung

Mars Veterinary Health is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician to support hospital facilities in the North Washington, D.C. area.

You will identify and perform repairs, manage preventive maintenance, and coordinate with hospitals and field leaders to ensure timely completion of work. The role requires hands-on skills in painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and flooring, with travel within the DC region.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Facilities Management or a similar field is preferred.
• Three years of experience in Construction or Maintenance are required.
• Working knowledge of construction terms, blueprints, troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, casework, and general building constructions is required.
• Experience with building construction power tools, electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, paint, cabinetry, laminate, vinyl composition tile (VCT) and ceramic flooring installation and repair is preferred.

• Identify, manage, and perform facility and medical equipment repairs and preventive maintenance in the region.
• Coordinate travel within MVH guidelines and budget to meet deadlines.
• Manage maintenance work orders, timelines, and communication with hospitals and managers.
• Inspect and report facility damages, repairs, and construction variances.
