You will record incoming shipments, handle various carriers, and assist in returns and dock-to-stock transfers. The role requires high school diploma, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• 6 months prior work experience.
• Know-how of the entire stockroom.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and stay calm under pressure.
• Effective communication with customers, supervisors, and Will Call employees.
• Self-motivation and initiative to achieve company goals.
• Willingness and ability to learn.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Flexible hours, including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Strong customer relation skills.
• Ability to operate a RADS gun.
• Forklift certification required.
• Visual ability to read letters/numbers and sequences.
• Speak clearly and listen attentively.
• Stand/walk for entire shift.
• Lift/move up to 60 pounds.
• Reach upper shelves with stool/ladder.
• Move heavy items with equipment like hand truck and hydraulic lifts.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments, verify accuracy, and transport to proper stock locations.
• Record all incoming shipments on receiving log.
• Sort and record shipments received via carriers; deliver next-day air mail as needed.
• Handle Pro Point repair and returns.
• Ship W.O.G. and cross docks to jobbers.
• Assist in unloading returned merchandise and verify piece count.
• Perform management-assigned duties.
