Job summary

Rural King Farm and Home Store is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products into the distribution center. You will handle BOL documentation and itemized shipping paperwork.

Responsibilities include moving products with powered equipment, maintaining safety, and upholding quality KPI goals while supporting drivers and vendors at the RK distribution center.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Experience with powered industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with Latitude systems or ability to quickly learn them.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

• Provide accurate inspection and counting of all products received in the warehouse.
• Utilize operating systems affiliated with RK DC operations such as ATK, Latitude, etc.
• Move product via powered industrial equipment to and from location when receipt is complete and processed.
• Understand and follow vendor compliance processes.
• Communicate with drivers after trailers are unloaded.
• Rework problem freight and ensure quality and production KPI goals are met daily, weekly and monthly.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
