Job summary

Rural King seeks a dependable Puller to join our distribution center. You'll use equipment like cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts to retrieve and consolidate freight, move orders to the proper lanes, and store inbound freight for future distribution to stores.

You should have at least one year of warehouse experience, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.

• Ensure the freight is stacked securely before moving the pallet.
• Ensure quality and production KPI goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a puller, you will be responsible for using equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts to retrieve and consolidate freight in the distribution center. Pullers will retrieve warehouse orders and move them to the proper induction lanes so the cargo can go to the stores. They will also locate warehouse locations to put away inbound freight so that it can be later retrieved to send to the stores.
