Job summary

Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis in Washington, DC is seeking a high-energy Account Executive to manage a roster of 4–6 clients, lead media outreach, and secure national lifestyle and book coverage.

You will shape brand storytelling, coordinate book tours with creator partnerships, and maintain meticulous agendas and reports for authors, founders and senior leadership. This role requires 2–3 years in lifestyle PR and a strong writer’s voice.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in lifestyle PR, consumer communications, public affairs or book publicity.
• Experience navigating the capital’s media ecosystem and engaging influencers.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own daily execution for 4–6 clients, securing placements in lifestyle, literary and national outlets.
• Architect moments by coordinating book tours with social-first content and creator partnerships.
• Manage agendas, meeting recaps and activity reports for authors, founders and leadership.
• Support lifestyle events and brand activations with logistics and media on-site.
• Draft pitches, press materials and bios translating complex books or brands into persuasive narratives.
• Monitor news and social platforms for vibe shifts relevant to clients.
• Build trust with clients and journalists, contributing to team culture and integrity.
• Bring existing media contacts and expand networks across national and DC outlets.
