Job summary

Rainier Recruiting is seeking a Service Engineer in Phoenix, AZ. This role centers on serving as the primary contact for service jobs, overseeing bids, SOWs, BOMs, MOPs, and close-out documentation with a focus on compliance and efficiency.

Collaboration with managers, purchasing, and customers drives operational excellence. The role requires extensive DC power experience, strong installation and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams across service locations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with DC power solutions installation, maintenance, repair and end-of-life.
• Proven ability to manage complex service projects and customer requirements.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Experience supporting service leaders and coordinating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer site walks for service jobs and develop quotes/SOWs.
• Manage end-to-end service projects: procurement, scheduling, execution, close-out and invoicing.
• Author MOPs and technical documents in line with standards.
• Provide technical support to field personnel and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Coordinate with service leadership to organize and schedule work across locations.
• Collaborate with other service locations to optimize resource utilization.
• Train and mentor technicians on DC power plant operation and documentation quality.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and company procedures.
