Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, Rhode Island is seeking a .NET Software Engineer to join its DC plan administration platform team. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of multi-tier web applications using .NET technologies in a globally distributed IT environment.

The role requires solid experience with C# and/or VB.NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, and SDLC/Agile practices. Familiarity with TFS, GitHub, Jenkins, and scripting languages is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Proficiency with C# and/or VB.NET, .NET Framework and SQL Server.
• Proficiency with multi-tier web-based development using ASP.NET MVC.
• Experience with SQL scripts and relational databases.
• Experience with Team Foundation Server, GitHub and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
• C++ experience would be helpful; VBScript, JavaScript, JSON, XML, and PowerShell skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Fidelity's DC plan administration platform.
• Contribute to design, development, and deployment of multi-tier web applications.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed IT team to support ongoing enhancements.
