Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, NH seeks a Director, Software Engineer (IC) to provide senior technical leadership for Asset Management Technology Foundations. You will shape enterprise-grade platforms, driving frontend experiences and full‑stack capabilities with Java, Spring Boot, and Python services.

You will stay hands-on while guiding architecture, design systems, and reusable components, collaborating with UX, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, data‑driven user

Qualifications

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale platforms across multiple products.
• Frontend platforms architectures focused on Angular ecosystems.
• Ownership of design systems and reusable UI libraries.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot backend services.
• Cloud-native deployments, CI/CD, and security considerations.
• AI-enabled UI patterns for enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction of platforms used across Asset Management.
• Set engineering standards for frontend and experience platforms.
• Collaborate with architecture, UX, and product to align platforms with business needs.
• Enable data-driven decisions using analytics and AI.
• Deliver scalable, maintainable solutions and improve developer productivity.
• Ensure security, resilience, and usability of platforms.
