Job summary

Spot On Talent is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to lead the central distribution center for a long-established Texas plumbing supply company in Dallas. You will manage a solid team, report to the President, and run a Monday–Friday early schedule with no Saturdays.

You will optimize receiving, putaway, picking, and inventory accuracy across roughly 7,700 SKUs, supervise forklifts and fleet maintenance, and collaborate with branch managers and leadership to improve ERP/WMS processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a warehouse or distribution center leadership role.
• Plumbing distribution knowledge including pipe & fittings handling.
• Experience operating forklifts and other powered equipment.
• Hands-on ERP/WMS experience and strong Excel (filters, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the DC team, including supervisors and operators.
• Oversee daily operations: receiving, putaway, picking, transfers, will call.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Improve processes and update SOPs; optimize ERP/WMS usage.
