Responsibilities
- Perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance activities including patching and painting walls, patching floors, replacing lights, repairing racking, moving and setting up office furniture and other facility related tasks.
- Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment.
- Document all work order activities including labor, parts, inventory used and close work orders to provide documented records of maintenance performed.
- Follow lockout‑tag out procedures, confined space procedures and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.
- Complete pass‑down logs to inform coworkers of operational status of facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair controls, process controllers, control cabinets, power supplies and all other field devices associated with the conveyor system.
- Use system software to troubleshoot, trend and monitor conveyor equipment.
- Develop and implement innovative ideas to increase productivity and/or reliability.
- Enter data into the computerized maintenance management system.
- Perform minor electrical work such as running conduit and pulling wire.
- Perform analytical tests on the various conveyor systems and document results.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- 4-6 years industrial maintenance experience with conveyors, controls, and operating systems of a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.
- Experience working around pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills, and industrial electrical systems.
Required Competencies
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC.
- Proven track record of strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Automatic Identification systems (Laser Scanning Devices).
- Experience working effectively under pressure of competing or conflicting priorities.
- Regarded as a system expert in at least one area (Pick Module, VAS, Shipping Sorter).
- Highly motivated, a team player and a self‑starter.
- Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with co‑workers and managers in a cooperative constructive manner.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to positively influence others.
- Strong project planning and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to expedite several projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance is a plus.
- Conversational Spanish skills a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Word programs.
- Multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment with a strong customer focus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid Driver's License.
- Fork Lift Certification.

Compensation
$26.30 - $29.62 per hour.
Shift
1st Shift Mon - Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm.
