Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking a maintenance staff member to perform daily maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment and facilities to meet operational needs. The role may require shift flexibility to support our distribution center in Ohio.

You will diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC issues, lead troubleshooting, and participate in preventive maintenance while coordinating with operations to minimize downtime and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose faults in equipment.
• Electrical skills are a plus for facility and MHE systems.
• Comfort with problem solving, scheduling, and process improvement.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication with operations.

This position may require shift flexibility. The successful candidate must be able to work any assigned shift.THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE.Key responsibility of providing electrical support for both facilities related items as well as operations level material handling systems and any other critical path electrical support.Serve as a leader in all maintenance troubleshooting activities including electrical, communication issues, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance, HVAC, lighting and repair of MHE and conveyors.Participate in and mentor others in analyzing defects and failures in the above-referenced areas and ensure resolution with minimal disruption to daily operation of material handling systems and facility needs.Independently and as part of a team, work closely with operations staff on problems associated with material handling equipment and building facility needs.
