Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a maintenance supervisor to lead a high-speed machinery and process-control team. The role requires strong supervisory and coaching skills, PLC knowledge, and a solid maintenance background. You will ensure safety, perform diagnostics, and support ongoing PM and R&M activities.

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication, a strong work ethic, and the ability to train and guide staff in a fast-paced environment with a focus on reliability and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Perform on line edits and program changes with PLCs and box logic.
• Troubleshoot and test high speed machinery and process controls.
• Inspect, clean and treat for corrosion; perform system checks.
• Diagnose malfunctions in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Monitor safety and housekeeping; oversee crew conduct.
• PM completion and reliability/method improvements.
• Support warehouse refrigeration operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform on line edits, and program changes with PLC's and familiarity w ith box logic.
• Other responsibilities include knowledge of troubleshooting, replacing, calibrating, and testing malfunctioning (pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical) components on high speed machinery systems, and process control systems.
• Inspect, clean, treat for corrosion and perform system operational checks on high speed machinery systems, industrial control systems, and instrumentation systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test components and technical publication.
• Monitors work conditions with a main focus on safety and solid adherence to process and procedure. Attention and oversight of whole crew to employ good housekeeping habits.
• PM completion goals and R&M involvement.
