Genuine Parts Company in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Warehouse Associate to stage, shrink wrap, and load products by trip and store number, preparing palletized loads for shipment with safe balancing and placement.

You will inspect trailers, verify correct parts, operate a pallet jack or forklift, and maintain a clean, safe loading environment while assisting with other DC shuttles and maintaining productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or 6 months of equivalent work experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Regular, reliable attendance is expected.
• Ability to read and recognize letters and numbers and remember sequences.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Stage products on pallets, shrink wrap and load pallets on trucks.
• Inspect trailers for suitability before loading.
• Ensure correct parts are loaded onto the right truck with accuracy and speed.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Keep the work area clean to prevent accidents and enable rapid loading.
• Pull stock orders as needed for loading.
• Assist with processing other DC shuttles.
• Work safely following all procedures and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
