Job summary

Ferguson is hiring an administrative support role to run day-to-day office tasks in our Brookshire, Texas distribution center. You will greet visitors, assist associates and leaders, and coordinate daily administrative needs to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 3+ years of admin experience, strong MS Office skills, and a team-focused, professional approach. Regular attendance and overtime may be requested to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of administrative experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage priorities through effective organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal & customer service skills and a team-centric mentality.
  • Experience reviewing and working with financial or operational documents preferred.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, including handling confidential information appropriately.
  • Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to following all safety policies.
  • Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support, including organizing, maintaining, and distributing reports, documents, and materials in line with established procedures.
  • Create, edit, format, and proofread documents, reports, and communications using Microsoft Office and other systems.
  • Support office operations, including managing supplies, coordinating vendor needs, and maintaining an organized and functional workspace.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls professionally, route inquiries to the appropriate departments, and manage messages as needed.
  • Manage facility access by greeting visitors, supporting check-in processes, and ensuring compliance with building access protocols.
  • Serve as a point of contact for associates, visitors, and customers, providing a professional and helpful experience.
  • Partner with site leadership to support associate engagement initiatives, committees, safety programs, and training activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.

In this role, you’ll spend your day as a go-to support for the building—greeting visitors, assisting associates and leaders, and helping coordinate the day-to-day administrative needs of the distribution center.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00AM – 5:30PM

Pay And Benefits
  • Starting Pay: ($20.00 - $25.00) per hour

Pay Range

$15.00 - $33.32

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
