Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking staff for distribution-center inventory control and research to ensure accuracy and support efficient operations. You will research discrepancies, perform audits, cycle counts, and adjustments to optimize receiving, stocking, and distribution processes.

Responsibilities include monitoring discrepancies, using WMS and RF scanners, and maintaining safe, organized work areas while contributing to performance metrics and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory audits, cycle counts, and adjustments.
• Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in research and reconciliation.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform order adjustments, repicks, inventory transfers, and quantity corrections.
• Monitor and resolve allocation, receiving, stocking, and inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct daily audits of outbound parcels and inbound inventory to verify numbers.
• Perform cycle counts and monthly inventory checks following procedures.
• Reconcile stray parts and support factory stock adjustments and recalls.
• Maintain accurate location data and support selection and packing processes.
• Communicate discrepancies to leadership and request needed equipment repairs.
