Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a distribution center inventory control associate to maintain accuracy, perform cycle counts, audits, and adjustments, and support receiving, stocking, and DC processes.

You will use WMS and RF equipment, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Prior experience with inventory systems and RF devices is a plus.

• Must accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment while handling merchandise.
• Demonstrate precision in inventory research and reconciliation.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems and RF technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform adjustments, transfers, and corrections to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Research and resolve allocation, receiving, and inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct daily audits of outbound/inbound inventory and prepare reports.
• Complete cycle counts and monthly verification activities per procedures.
• Process stray parts, relabeling, and stock adjustments as needed.
• Operate and maintain PIE equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate discrepancies to leadership and support operational metrics.
