Job summary

Ollie is seeking an Inventory Control team member to maintain accuracy of goods in the distribution center. You will reconcile receipts, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper placement of merchandise to support daily fulfillment.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency with Outlook and Excel; AS400 experience is a plus. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be accurate with attention to detail.
• Good communication with all team members.
• Ability to communicate with other departments professionally.
• Must be able to work as a team with emphasis on individual goals.
• Proficient use of Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Reconciling goods received and delivered on a daily and weekly basis.
• Cycle counting of merchandise and goods in the warehouse.
• Processing of damaged goods and merchandise.
• Assigning primary locations for goods and merchandise for product placement.
• Assist production planning team with next day’s product and merchandise flow.
• Break primary locations daily to assist with next day’s inbound production.
• Research SKUs to assist accounting department with weekly bill payment.
• Create daily projects for letdown/put away team.
• Assist Inventory Control Supervisor with any projects that develop to assist in daily production.
• Billing/crediting stores for goods.
• Additional responsibilities to be determined as business needs arise.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to set for extended period of time at a desk.
• Ability to work on computer for extended period of time.
• Ability to bend and twist frequently.
• Ability to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently.
• Ability to squat, kneel, balance, and climb occasionally.
• Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
• Must have ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures.
