Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking a DC Equipment Operator for mid-shift Shipping to join our distribution team in Waterloo, IA. You will ensure inbound shipments are received, pick and pack, and support safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Starting pay is $23.50 per hour with potential to earn up to $29.00 per hour based on performance; schedule is 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Shipments: ensure shipments are received and registered accurately.

• Order Resolution: liaise with other departments to resolve issues preventing dispatch.
• Picking and Packing: prepare goods for dispatch.
• Compliance: adhere to policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Attendance: maintain consistent, dependable presence.
• Additional Duties: perform other tasks to assist warehouse operations.

Hours: 11p-7:30a M-F with Overtime as needed. Starting rate: $23.50/hr with the ability to make up to $5.50/hr more for a max total of $29/hr based on individual performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Inbound Shipments: Ensure inbound shipments are received and registered accurately.
• General Warehouse Duties: Carry out a range of activities to support the movement of products throughout the warehouse.
• Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Assist site management by staying in sync with HSE legislation through completing necessary documentation and records.
• Order Resolution: Resolve orders that cannot be dispatched or are on hold by liaising with other departments.
• Picking and Packing: Pick and pack goods ready for dispatch.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Attendance: Ensure consistent and dependable presence.
• Additional Duties: Carry out other tasks as assigned to assist warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or transportation/shipping role is preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Attendance: Dedication to consistent and dependable presence.
• Safety: A strong understanding of and dedication to health, safety, and environmental practices.

- Pay Range: - $15.00 - $34.66 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

- This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
