Job summary

The Home Depot in Tracy, CA is seeking an experienced DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive safe, efficient distribution center operations. You will hire, evaluate, develop, and manage 20 to 30 hourly associates to meet daily goals.

Key duties include enforcing procedures, coaching staff, monitoring productivity and inventory accuracy, and coordinating staffing with the Operations Manager. A Bachelor’s degree and experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office are

High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise 20 to 30 hourly associates, ensuring safe, efficient and productive operations.
Hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly staff as needed with guidance from Operations leadership.
Enforce standardized processes and drive continuous improvement in daily DC operations.
Coach and develop associates, monitor performance and provide feedback based on data and observations.
Maintain inventory accuracy, monitor key metrics and plan staffing to meet production needs.
