Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a forklift operator to move merchandise within the distribution center in Horn Lake, MS. You will unload trucks, move freight, stock racks, and replenish zones while maintaining safety standards.

Team-oriented candidates with experience operating various power equipment and forklift trucks are preferred. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired, and a strong promote-from-within culture supports career growth at O’Reilly.

Qualifications

• Must work well in a team environment.
• Operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating various types of power equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise from truck to dock and stocking areas.
• Stock rack merchandise and organize rack surplus.
• Set down rack surplus so orders can be filled and replenishments can be made.
• Perform tasks requiring a fork truck.
• Replenish outbound totes as needed.
• Assist with maintaining mezzanine zones.
• Maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices.
• Trainers may lead DC target training program and onboard new team members.
• All other duties as assigned.
