Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Greensboro, NC is seeking a dependable delivery driver to complete store orders and pickups on assigned city routes. You will operate company vehicles, ensure accurate loads, and maintain safety standards while serving customers with courtesy.

You will follow route schedules, communicate with store management, and help train new team members as needed. A clean driving record and a high school diploma (or GED) are preferred; bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver store orders safely and courteously using company vehicle.
• Coordinate with city counter management on deliveries to stores.
• Maintain delivery and pickup forms for stores and vendors.
• Keep delivery vehicle clean and in good condition per policy.
• Deliver all orders to correct locations and on schedule.
• Follow daily route schedules and time windows as directed.

Job Overview

Complete deliveries and pickups on assigned city counter routes in an accurate, efficient, safe, and courteous manner.

Essential Job Functions

• Complete delivery of store orders in a safe, courteous, and professional manner using a company vehicle.
• Communicate with the city counter management team regarding parts delivery to stores on assigned routes.
• Manage delivery and pickup forms for company stores, city counter, and outside vendors.
• Maintain the O’Reilly delivery vehicle according to company policy.
• Deliver all orders accurately to the correct locations.
• Follow specific route schedules and times set forth by the supervisor.
• Quality check loads before loading to ensure correct parts have been pulled for stores and that all parts are accounted for.
• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
• Assist with training of new team members as required, ensuring training is conducted on schedule and documentation is complete.
• Convey departmental or procedural changes to existing team members.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by the DC Management team.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record with the appropriate state license.
• Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.
• Maintenance of a professional appearance and a positive, respectful attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) – desired.
• Previous driving experience – desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) – desired.
