Job summary

White-Recruitment seeks a DC/Battery Field Service Technician to service industrial battery systems across the Northeast from Providence, Rhode Island. This field role requires extensive travel and independent work at customer sites.

You will inspect, test, maintain and replace wet cells, chargers, rectifiers and inverters, and complete field service reports, with overtime opportunities. Pay is about $25/hour with overtime; company hotels during overnight travel, a company vehicle after

Qualifications

• Experience or education in electronics, DC power or battery systems.
• Wet cell, industrial battery, rectifier, inverter or battery charger experience desirable.
• Candidates with transferable electrical or electronic experience may be considered.
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel and regular overnight stays.
• Physically capable of handling and replacing heavy batteries.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s licence and good customer-facing skills.
• Eager to undertake on-the-job and product-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company-issued tools, equipment and technical documentation.
• Complete field service reports, timecards and expense reports accurately.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Identify additional battery or service opportunities where appropriate.
• Attend product-specific technical training.

DC Battery Field Service Technician

Location: Field-based across the Northeast - Lots of travel

Pay: Approximately $25 per hour for experienced candidates, plus guaranteed overtime
