Job summary

Darley is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive NAVSEA opportunities and close deals at an aggressive pace. The ideal candidate is a retired Senior Naval Officer or Senior Enlisted with defense acquisitions and program management experience, familiar with NAVSEA and NSWC.

Location preferred in Washington DC or the Mid-Atlantic region. The role challenges you to develop strategies for Navy requirements, build durable relationships with government customers and industry partners,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree in business, defense strategic studies, or related field preferred.
• Top Secret security clearance preferred.
• Retired military with acquisition/government procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive opportunities within Navy programs, NSWC, NAVSEA, and PEOs.
• Build relationships with senior government executives and program offices.
• Generate quotes and transition opportunities to relevant teams.
• Proactively prospect for new Navy customers and opportunities.
