Antitrust & Competition Associate Attorney sought by a premier international AmLaw 50 firm in Washington, DC. You will work with leading antitrust practitioners on merger reviews, government investigations, litigation, and compliance counseling for multinational clients.

The role emphasizes collaboration, client interaction, and exposure to cutting-edge competition issues across industries. The candidate will have a JD from a top-tier law school, DC bar admission, 3–4 years of post-JD

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• Strong background in antitrust and competition law.
• Experience handling antitrust litigation, merger reviews, and regulatory investigations.
• Experience representing clients before FTC/DOJ and state AGs preferred.
• Knowledge of merger clearance processes and government enforcement actions.
• Excellent legal research, writing, advocacy, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters and work with clients and agencies.
• Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in antitrust litigation in federal and state courts.
• Assist with merger clearance reviews and regulatory filings.
• Advise clients during investigations by FTC, DOJ, and state AGs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on competition law issues.
• Draft motions, briefs, agency submissions, white papers, and memoranda.
• Support internal and government investigations involving antitrust concerns.
• Counsel clients on antitrust compliance and risk management.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on transactional and litigation matters.
• Monitor developments in antitrust enforcement and policy.
