Job summary

TP Mechanical, LLC. is seeking a warehouse associate in Columbus to perform distribution tasks including receiving, counting, validating, documenting, shipping and forklift operation. The role focuses on accuracy, safety, and meeting schedule deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of distribution center experience, plus a background in plumbing, sheet metal, or construction. Valid driver’s license required and willingness to drive to vendor locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years prior Distribution Center or Warehouse experience.
• Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.
• Experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing & Production will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Validate and sign off on vendor deliveries.
• Load/Unload trucks as needed.
• Kit, verify, count all fab shop and job site materials.
• Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.
• Drive company vehicle to vendors DC's to pick up Will Call material.
• Stock and document material.
• Pulls orders for delivery to job sites and ensure items are correct and in working order.
• Operate sit down propane forklift to store/pull product from floor and pallet rack locations.
• Meet all production and job site schedule deadlines.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization at optimal levels.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: Performs various distribution functions, including receiving, counting, validating, documenting, shipping, and equipment operation. Develops relationships both inside and outside of the company and represents the organization in a professional manner.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Validate and sign off on vendor deliveries.
• Load/Unload trucks as needed.
• Kit, verify, count all fab shop and job site materials.
• Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.
• Drive company vehicle to vendors DC's to pick up Will Call material.
• Stock and document material.
• Pulls orders for delivery to job sites. Ensures items pulled are correct and in working order.
• Operate sit down propane forklift to store/pull product from floor and pallet rack locations.

• Ensures cleanliness and organization in the warehouse is at optimal levels.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience/Qualifications Required:
• Minimum 2+ years prior Distribution Center or Warehouse experience.
• Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.
• Experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing & Production will be considered.
