DC ASSOCIATE W/FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE-(3rd shift)

Job summary

TP Mechanical is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate for a 3rd shift in Columbus, OH. You will perform distribution tasks including receiving, counting, validating, and shipping materials, while supporting inventory control and site deliveries.

You will operate a sit-down propane forklift, load/unload trucks, and drive to vendor DCs to collect Will Call material. A strong team-oriented, detail-focused approach is essential for meeting deadlines and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years prior Distribution Center or Warehouse experience.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.
• Experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing & Production will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Validate and sign off on vendor deliveries.
• Load/Unload trucks as needed and operate sit-down propane forklift.
• Kit, verify, count all fab shop and job site materials; pull orders for delivery to job sites.
• Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.
• Drive to vendors' DCs to pick up Will Call material and stock and document material.
• Meet all production and job site schedule deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: Performs various Distribution functions such as, but not limited to: receiving, counting, validating, documenting, shipping, equipment operation, etc. Develops relationships both inside and outside of the company and represents the organization in a professional manner. This is a 3rd shift role.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Validate and sign off on vendor deliveries.
• Load/Unload trucks as needed.
• Kit, verify, count all fab shop and job site materials.
• Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.
• Drive company vehicle to vendors DC’s to pick up Will Call material.
• Stock and document material.
• Pulls orders for delivery to job sites. Ensures items pulled are correct and in working order.
• Operate sit down propane forklift to store/pull product from floor and pallet rack locations.
• Meet all production and job site schedule deadlines.
• Ensures cleanliness and organization in the warehouse is at optimal levels.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience

• Experience/Qualifications Required:
• Minimum 2+ years prior Distribution Center or Warehouse experience.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.
• Experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing & Production will be considered.
