Job summary

Temp-Con, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Columbus, OH to handle distribution tasks including receiving, counting, validating, documenting, shipping, and operating equipment.

You will support stores and job sites by pulling orders, stocking materials, and maintaining BOM records while ensuring safety and organization in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include 2+ years in a distribution/warehouse setting, a driver’s license, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in Distribution Center or Warehouse.
• Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.
• Experience in Inventory Control/Management and Manufacturing/Production will be considered.

• Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.
• Drive company vehicle to vendors' DCs to pick up Will Call material.

• Meet production and job site schedule deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary: Performs various distribution functions, including receiving, counting, validating, documenting, shipping, and equipment operation. Develops relationships both inside and outside of the company and represents the organization in a professional manner.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Validate and sign off on vendor deliveries.
• Load/Unload trucks as needed.
• Kit, verify, count all fab shop and job site materials.
• Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.
• Drive company vehicle to vendors DC’s to pick up Will Call material.
• Stock and document material.
• Pulls orders for delivery to job sites. Ensures items pulled are correct and in working order.
• Operate sit down propane forklift to store/pull product from floor and pallet rack locations.
• Meet all production and job site schedule deadlines.
• Ensures cleanliness and organization in the warehouse is at optimal levels.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience/Qualifications Required:
• Minimum 2+ years prior Distribution Center or Warehouse experience.
• Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.
• Experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing & Production will be considered.
