O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Transportation Supervisor to aid in daily operations, coordinating driver activity, fleet readiness, and regulatory compliance. You will assist with training, scheduling, and performance reviews to keep the transportation team aligned with company standards.

Compensation Pay Range: $66,792.00 - $100,188.00 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
The Assistant Transportation Supervisor supports daily transportation operations within the distribution center by helping coordinate driver activity, fleet readiness, regulatory compliance, and on-time product deliveries. This role assists the Transportation Supervisor with team member guidance, reporting, scheduling, safety communication, and operational follow-up to help ensure the transportation department runs safely, efficiently, and in alignment with O'Reilly standards.
Required: Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR). Familiarity with hazardous materials by highway regulations, North American Standard Out of Service criteria, and electronic logging devices. Experience with supporting daily work coordination, communicating expectations, and following up on assigned tasks. Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply them to daily work. Ability to adapt to new systems and programs that support fleet safety and transportation performance. Effective communication skills when working with team members and leaders across the distribution center.
Desired: Experience with distribution center operations. Experience working with routing and delivery schedules. Experience with AS400 platforms. 1+ year of previous experience in fleet management. Proficiency in one or more additional languages.
