Marvin is seeking an DC-Assistant Distribution Supervisor at our Reno, NV facility. You will assist the Supervisor in leading the distribution department to maintain stability during absences and oversee day shift operations.

You will help drive productivity, safety and quality while fostering a positive workplace culture. A background in supervision and strong communication skills are essential for success, with benefits and long-term growth opportunities available.

Job Overview

The Assistant Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in leading and supervising the department. This person must be able to maintain the stability of the department when the Supervisor isn't present.

Enjoy a comfortable schedule:

Day shift: Monday - Thursday; 6:00 am - 4:30 pm; overtime as needed.

Highlights of your role

• In tandem with the Supervisor, provides employees with tools, information, knowledge and support to meet production goals
• Partners with Supervisor on process changes and continuous improvement projects
• Listens, and encourages to ensure a positive culture; creating a great place to work
• Supports the daily productivity by balancing labor against goals
• Communicates with and involves appropriate support departments when needed
• Meets and maintains quality measures
• Meets and maintains safety measures (i.e. OSHA incident rate)
• Investigate quality concerns to determine root cause
• Prevent quality issues from leaving the facility
