Job summary

Lateral Link is assisting a Global 100 antitrust practice in Washington, DC to hire a junior-to-mid-level associate (2–5 years) with a strong background in antitrust. The role offers a Cravath-scale compensation of $235K–$365K depending on class year, with bonus eligibility.

You will work directly with partners on merger clearance, investigations, and antitrust litigation across a cross-border practice. Applicants should have familiarity with the HSR Act and a DC bar admission or eligibility to

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of antitrust experience at a firm or government
• Strong writing and advocacy skills before regulators
• Familiarity with the HSR Act and review process
• DC bar admission or eligibility to waive in; federal clerkship a plus

Responsibilities

• Merger control work: HSR filings, Second Requests, clearance strategy before DOJ/FTC
• Cartel defense and civil investigations coordination
• Antitrust litigation including government actions and private class actions
• Counseling on distribution, pricing, joint ventures, and information-sharing
