Job summary

OHEL Children's Home and Family Services seeks an experienced IOP Coordinator to lead a DBT-based Intensive Outpatient Program for women, and to establish a DBT-informed Parent Support Program for caregivers of youth and young adults at risk. The role involves clinical leadership, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and community outreach to ensure safe transitions of care.

The ideal candidate holds an active license and has at least 5 years of experience with high-acuity populations,

Qualifications

• Licensed clinical professional in listed field(s).
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience with high-acuity populations.
• DBT experience required, intensive training preferred.
• Experience with suicide risk, self-harm or significant emotional dysregulation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and clinical flow of a late afternoon/early evening DBT-based Women’s IOP.
• Collaborate with therapists, psychiatric prescribers and case managers.
• Support suicide risk monitoring, safety planning and escalation with treatment team.
• Provide clinical guidance to group facilitators and ensure fidelity to DBT principles.
• Integrate creative arts, mindfulness, and wellness interventions within a DBT-informed framework.
• Conduct outreach to community organizations, hospitals, schools and other referral sources to build relationships and facilitate referrals.
• Collaborate with intake, outpatient providers and leadership for smooth transitions of care into/out of IOP.
• Create and lead DBT-informed parent groups focused on caregiver regulation, validation and skills.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation consistent with CCBHC and NYS OMH regulations.
