Job summary

Optechs Inc. is seeking a DBA (MilAUDIT, OEM) to support database administration, monitoring, and migration activities for MilAUDIT and Oracle Enterprise Manager environments.

The role collaborates with the DBA Lead and ERP CS OEM teams to coordinate OCI requirements and ensure smooth migrations. You will handle backup, recovery, patching, performance tuning, and security, while maintaining documentation and participating in change management.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification required throughout employment.
• Experience administering and supporting Oracle databases.
• Experience configuring, administering, or supporting Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Working knowledge of OCI and database or monitoring-platform migrations.
• Understanding of SQL, database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate across technical teams.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide database administration and operational support for the MilAUDIT and OEM environments.
• Collaborate with the DBA Lead and technical teams to assess migration requirements, dependencies, and infrastructure readiness.
• Support migration planning, environment configuration, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
• Assist with OEM configuration and administration, including repository databases, management services, monitoring agents, and monitored targets.
• Coordinate OCI compute, storage, networking, connectivity, and access requirements with infrastructure and security teams.
• Monitor database health, availability, and performance; investigate issues and implement approved corrective actions.
• Support database backup, recovery, patching, maintenance, and access management in accordance with established procedures.
• Validate database connectivity, monitoring, alerts, and integrations before and after migration.
• Document configurations, migration procedures, troubleshooting steps, and operational handoff materials.
• Participate in change management activities and coordinate issue resolution across database, application, and infrastructure teams.

Job Summary:

Optimized Technical Solutions (OTS) is looking for a DBA (OEM).The DBA (MilAUDIT, OEM) supports database administration, monitoring, and migration activities for the MilAUDIT and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) environments. This position works with the DBA Lead, MP DBA team, and ERP CS OEM teams to support the migration of ERP CS shared services OEM and coordinate the associated Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) requirements.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide database administration and operational support for the MilAUDIT and OEM environments.

Requirements:

• Must be U.S. citizen

• Experience administering and supporting Oracle databases.
• Experience configuring, administering, or supporting Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Working knowledge of OCI and database or monitoring-platform migrations.
• Understanding of SQL, database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate across technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting MilAUDIT or comparable enterprise application databases.
• Experience migrating Oracle workloads or OEM environments to OCI.
• Familiarity with Linux administration and scripting.
• Relevant Oracle Database or OCI certifications.

Work Environment

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by OTS.
