Job summary

SOFTHQ is looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with 5-8 years of experience in DB2 on zOS Database Administration and Support. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of DB2 on Mainframes, various versions from DB2 9 to 12, and will be responsible for monitoring DB2-related batch jobs and resolving issues.

We seek candidates with strong expertise in DB2 Utilities, including Reorg, Load, and Unload, along with good familiarity with Query Tuning. This role is primarily based in Ashburn, VA or Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of DBA experience in DB2 on zOS Database Administration and Support.
• Thorough knowledge of DB2 on Mainframes, different versions such as DB2 9 through 12.
• Good knowledge of DB2 Utilities such as Reorg, Load, Unload.
