This role involves providing end-to-end support for large-scale Db2 z/OS environments, including database design, maintenance, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Db2 administration, strong SQL skills, and expertise in replication tools. This position requires continuous on-call support and collaboration with various teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Db2 z/OS Database Administration within large, complex environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, REXX, JCL, and COBOL.
• Experience in performance tuning, database security, and access management.

Responsibilities

• Provide application database and replication support for a large Db2 z/OS sysplex environment.
• Perform database maintenance, including utilities management.
• Review SQL and programs for compliance with standards and optimize performance.
• Support replication between Db2 and Oracle using IBM IIDR tools.
• Deliver 24x7 on-call support for critical database operations.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure secure and efficient database architecture.
• Contribute to performance tuning and access management strategies.
