Qualifications

• 6-8 years of equivalent work experience in related technical disciplines.
• In-depth understanding of applicable products and/or services.
• Expertise with Mainframe IBM DB2 required.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word
• Mainframe IBM DB2 experience required
• In‑depth understanding of applicable products and/or services and client needs and expectations
• Ability to question established work processes and procedures
• Advanced knowledge, skills and experience to perform all work requirements for the specific technical discipline; also proficient in advanced features and functions for the discipline
• Sound leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Model active learning through continuing to develop breadth of knowledge, skills, and perspective
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines

Seeking an experienced DB2LUW database administrator to lead the setup, configuration and knowledge transfer of a new installation of IBM DB2LUW in AWS.

Location: Kansas City, MO (Onsite work, locals preferred)

Assignment: 3 months – 5 months contract

Standardized Summary of Qualifications

• BA / BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred) or 6‑8 years of equivalent work experience in related technical disciplines
• Advanced degree a plus
• Minimum years of experience may be reduced for a candidate who has previously and continuously demonstrated highly effective performance
• Expertise with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word
• Mainframe IBM DB2 experience required
