Innovative Care Solutions is seeking a reliable NEMT Driver to transport patients in Dayton, Ohio, providing safe, courteous service and assistance during trips. The role suits someone who enjoys driving, working independently, and delivering compassionate support to patients and families.

Responsibilities include safely transporting patients, assisting with entry/exit, logging trips, and coordinating with care teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Required automobile insurance coverage.
• Ability to safely operate a passenger transportation vehicle.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills for completing required documentation.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and 10-panel drug screening.
• Ability to complete PASS or DRIVE training; orientation may provide training.
• Ability to work the required schedule and safely drive in varying weather and road conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients using an assigned transportation vehicle.
• Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle based on their individual needs.
• Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate service to patients and families.
• Follow traffic laws, transportation requirements, and organizational safety procedures.
• Complete transportation logs, trip documentation, and required reports accurately.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Report transportation concerns, schedule changes, or other issues to the appropriate team members.
• Operate the vehicle safely in daytime, nighttime, and changing weather conditions.
• Work with the care team and other departments to support timely transportation.
• Complete required training and maintain knowledge of safe patient transportation practices.
• Participate in quality improvement activities related to transportation services.
