Modern Builders Supply (MBS) is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support day-to-day operations at the Dayton branch, servicing builders and contractors while directing warehouse activities and implementing corporate initiatives. This role serves as a bridge between frontline staff and branch leadership, developing into a manager-in-training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; four-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of progressive work experience in a customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with branch operations including dispatching, vehicle maintenance, inventory management, customer service training, safety initiatives, and bookkeeping.
• Lead customer service team by example and provide exceptional service.
• Back up Branch Manager in processing payroll to corporate office when needed.
• Step in to lead the team in the Branch Manager’s absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
