Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA is seeking a punctual snowmaking team member to help prepare the mountain for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. You will operate snowmaking equipment and vehicles, and work outdoors to ensure a safe, high-quality experience for guests.

Requirements include being 18+, shifts 10am–10pm, a valid driver's license, fluent English, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to work at least 6 days per week and 60 hours. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.
Shift will be from 10am to 10pm.
Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment.
Able and willing to work at least 6 days/60 hours a week.
Able to lift & carry up to 75 lbs.
Basic hand tool knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

Operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Operate all vehicles, including snowmobiles, in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance.
Work on the production of snow to create the best skiing surface for our guests.
Assist in clearing/shoveling the parking areas and common areas of natural snow.
Other duties as assigned.
