Deerfield Supportive Living is seeking a dependable, hardworking Housekeeper/Janitor to join our team in Deerfield, IL. You will clean and maintain common areas, assist with resident move-ins, and follow infection control procedures to ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

This full-time position runs Tuesday through Saturday during daytime hours. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior housekeeping or cleaning experience; healthcare or senior

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Ability to work Tuesday–Saturday during daytime hours.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, restrooms, dining areas, resident spaces, and other community areas.
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and other housekeeping duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the community.
• Properly use, store, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies and communicate when additional supplies are needed.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs as needed.
• Follow established infection control, safety, and cleaning procedures.
• Provide friendly, respectful, and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Assist with additional housekeeping or janitorial duties as assigned.
