Job summary

Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community in Asheville, NC, is seeking a full-time housekeeper to support resident life and maintain a comfortable, safe environment across our continuing care community. Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

You will perform cleaning tasks, ensure rooms meet standards, and engage positively with residents while collaborating with leadership to address concerns. Training is provided and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of housekeeping experience required.
• Training is provided.

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Interact in a positive and productive fashion with residents while providing exceptional service.
• Communicate with leaders on any concerns.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stocking levels of all supplies and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and follow all company guidelines and policies for safe and effective work.

In this job, you will:

2+ years of prior experience with housekeeping is required, and we’re seeking reliable, friendly people who are focused on quality. Training is provided.
