Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dependable Cook to join our school food service program at the Hinton School District, on-site with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

You’ll prepare high-quality meals, support daily operations, ensure food safety, and keep the kitchen organized while collaborating with school staff and students to deliver great service and meals. This role offers a stable schedule, opportunities to train others, and a positive, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year food service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Follow recipes, measure ingredients and scale for large batches.
• Dependable with strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals following provided recipes.
• Support daily meal operations including forecasting and serving items.
• Maintain food safety by following HHFKA guidelines and recording HACCP logs.
• Keep the kitchen organized and maintain a safe, healthy work environment.
• Communicate with supervisors, staff and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with training new staff and cover additional roles as needed.
