Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Food Unit Lead for the Appleton Area School District in Appleton, WI. The schedule runs 6:30 am to 1:30 pm, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or summers off.

The role coordinates food-service staff, oversees prep and service, manages cash handling, and orders supplies while ensuring safety and sanitation per policy. Prior food service and cashier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of food-service staff to ensure quality dining experience.
• Oversee preparation and service of food and beverages to company standards.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and supervise serving.
• Respond to customer complaints in person and by email as needed.
• Train employees and coordinate work assignments to promote efficiency.
