Job summary

Peoria High School is seeking a Day Facility Worker in the Building and Grounds department to perform routine custodial duties and help maintain facilities. This 12-month, on-site role is based at Peoria High School in Peoria, AZ, reporting to the Maintenance Foreperson.

This position involves opening campus, cleaning, responding to issues, setting up event equipment, and light maintenance with adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year custodial or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass background check.
• Must have a valid Arizona driver license; may be required to lift up to 60 pounds and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Open campus, gates, doors, and lights as directed.
• Clean and maintain facilities throughout the day.
• Respond to calls and coordinate with security and maintenance teams.
• Set up and break down event equipment and seating as provided.
• Perform basic repairs and operate cleaning machinery.
• Participate in safety drills and secure campus.
