Job summary

The City of Peoria is seeking a Facilities Technician I to maintain city buildings, facilities and pools, including the Peoria Sports Complex. You will support events, inspect equipment, and perform preventative maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, painting, and pool systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 9–12 months of related experience, and a valid Class D license; a CPO certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 9–12 months of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Class D driver’s license at hire; CPO certification within 12 months.
