State of Wisconsin is seeking a Custodian for the Madison area to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including operating cleaning equipment and handling floors, toilets, and furniture. The position requires adaptability to shift times and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled hours as needed, including weekends and overtime.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to follow safety standards when using chemical cleaning agents.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and sanitizing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic cleaning equipment (scrubbers, sweepers, wall washers).
• Strip and seal floors; clean toilets, showers and furniture.
• Shovel snow and replace light bulbs as needed.
