Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods.
• Ability to use and maintain custodial equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with staff, students, and the public.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, common areas, and other spaces daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Notify maintenance staff of repairs or safety hazards.
• Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for events.
