Vermilion Charter Academy High School is seeking a Full-Time Day Custodian to keep facilities clean, safe, and well maintained. You will follow OSHA safety procedures, manage waste, and clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas while supporting the Head Custodian with projects.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and janitorial experience, with potential travel to nearby schools. The schedule is daytime with a 30-minute lunch break; located in Maurice, LA, on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe and well-maintained facilities.
• Clean interior areas: hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common spaces.
• Clean exterior areas: perimeter, parking lot, windows and play areas.
• Assist with cafeteria cleaning and table sanitation.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and report hazards.
• Travel to nearby schools or storage locations as needed.
