Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Day Custodian at Mountain View High School to perform custodial and maintenance tasks under the Custodial Site Manager. The role requires reliable, on-time attendance and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications include a valid Arizona driver’s license, at least one year of custodial experience, and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment. The position offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona driver’s license and ability to operate golf cart or gator type vehicle.
• Minimum one year custodial and/or general maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of custodial equipment, chemicals, supplies and cleaning procedures.
• Working knowledge of hand tools and pressure washers.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and maintenance functions as assigned by custodial site manager.
• Implement instructions from custodial manager.
• Assist custodial site manager with safety, energy conservation and security procedures.
• Assist in the coordination of work orders generated at school site.
• Assist with start-up and closing of school.
• Perform other related duties to support efficient functioning of the work unit.
• Regular and on-time attendance required.
• Assist other personnel as needed to support their work activities.
