Job summary

GRBS is hiring a Custodian for Haslett Public Schools. This full-time day shift runs 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday with one weekend per month, totaling 40 hours weekly. Location: Haslett, MI.

Pay rate: $16.75 per hour. Core responsibilities include coming to work consistently, following GRBS processes, mindful communication with all, and finishing the job to the building map and shift. Tasks include cleaning, mopping, dusting, restrooms, trash removal, biohazard cleanup as needed, and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.
• Due to Michigan public schools requirements, individuals with theft, violence or drug related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS Process.
• Have mindful communication with respect to all.
• Finish the job to the building map and shift.
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Answer Biohazard clean up calls during the school day
• Cleaning of common areas
• Dust mopping of hallways
• Lunch set up and take down (must be able to lift and move cafe tables)
• Pool Maintenance (Must be able to get Certified Pool Operator License)
• And other cleaning tasks as assigned.
